For our "Dishes from Around the World" column, Oriana Labombarda has prepared a fresh Indonesian-style Nasi Goreng salad. Every bite will transport you to a distant world, rich in spicy flavors and aromas.
Ingredients
- 1 pack of Arnaboldi Nasi Goreng
- 100g of peeled shrimp
- 100g of green beans
- qb juice of a lemon
- salt and pepper to taste
- qb extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
First, cook the Arnaboldi Nasi Goreng , following the instructions on the back of the packet. Once cooked, transfer the contents to a large bowl and let cool thoroughly.
Cut off the ends of the green beans and rinse them under running water. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the green beans for about ten minutes. Once cooked, let them cool, cut them into small pieces, and add them to the Nasi Goreng .
Heat a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil in a pan, add the shrimp, season to taste, and cook for a few minutes. Add them to the rest of the ingredients and combine.
Make an emulsion with the lemon juice, salt, pepper, and a couple of tablespoons of oil. Add the emulsion to the Nasi Goreng salad and refrigerate. Serve at room temperature!

My name is Oriana , I'm 40 years old and I'm from Puglia. As a child, I loved messing around with flour and eggs; I wanted to help my mother in some way. Now I have my own kitchen, where there's a large book containing recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation.
For me, cooking is a passion and helps me relax. I also love experimenting by offering the whole family unusual cuisine.
