Ready in 30 minutes | for 4 people

If you can't go to Japan, it will come to you! With this quick and easy recipe, you can make perfect homemade sushi.

Ingredients

  • 1 Arnaboldi sushi kit
(The kit contains a 180g pack of rice, a bag with 3 sheets of Nori seaweed, a sachet of soy sauce, two sachets of wasabi paste, a bamboo placemat, two pairs of chopsticks)
  • 57g tuna in oil
  • 100g smoked salmon
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

Accessories

  • Bamboo sushi mat
    (included in the Arnaboldi kit)
  • A sharp knife

Preparation

The first step in making this recipe is preparing the Arnaboldi sushi rice. Pour 225 ml of water and the rice into a saucepan. Cover the pot with a lid and cook over medium heat until the water begins to boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and continue cooking for 15 minutes until the water is completely absorbed (keep the pot covered while cooking the rice).
Once cooked, transfer the rice to a bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it cool. Then add 2 tablespoons of vinegar and 2 teaspoons of sugar and stir gently. Your sushi rice base is ready!

Take a sheet of Arnaboldi nori seaweed and lay it on the sushi mat. Wet your hands in a bowl of water to prevent the rice from sticking to them, and place the rice on top. Now you can add the sliced salmon and tuna. Wet your hands again and roll the nori seaweed into a roll. Remove the mat and, using a sharp knife, cut the roll into 6 equal pieces.

Repeat the operation with the other 2 sheets of Nori seaweed and serve the sushi with Arnaboldi soy sauce and wasabi.

Chef's advice
Before cutting the roll, wet the blade of your very sharp knife under cold water. This will ensure a perfect cut.
