It's impossible to resist the flavor and crunch of these spicy potatoes, seasoned with curry, oregano, salt, and pepper. An original side dish, made irresistible by the signature Thai sweet and sour sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 pack of Arnaboldi sweet and sour sauce
- 2 or 3 medium-sized potatoes
- curry to taste
- oregano to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
- breadcrumbs to taste
- qb extra virgin olive oil
Preparation
Peel the potatoes and cut them into 2-centimeter-thick slices. Place them on a cutting board and make incisions: diagonally on one side and horizontally on the other, without cutting all the way to the ends.
Once done, rinse them repeatedly under running water until the water runs clear. Transfer them to a large bowl and season with salt and pepper, a pinch of curry powder, oregano, and plenty of extra virgin olive oil. Rub the seasoning well with your hands, trying to work it into the incisions.
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle the surface with breadcrumbs and bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat the Arnaboldi sweet and sour sauce in a small saucepan. Once cooked, transfer it to a small bowl.
Serve the potatoes while still hot, accompanied by the sweet and sour sauce.
Enjoy your meal!

My name is Oriana , I'm 40 years old and I'm from Puglia. As a child, I loved messing around with flour and eggs; I wanted to help my mother in some way. Now I have my own kitchen, where there's a large book containing recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation.
For me, cooking is a passion and helps me relax. I also love experimenting by offering the whole family unusual cuisine.
